Responsible AI

Human-centered AI for student success

Artificial intelligence can support the future of higher education when it is used transparently, ethically, and with human oversight. ACLAS is developing AI-supported practices that strengthen learning support while protecting academic trust.

AI at ACLAS is intended to support students, faculty, and academic staff. It does not replace human academic judgment, transparent assessment, or institutional responsibility.
Human Oversight

AI-supported processes should remain subject to academic review, institutional policies, and human decision-making.

Privacy Protection

Student data, learning records, and credential information must be handled with care, security, and clear purpose.

Academic Integrity

Students should understand acceptable AI use, assessment expectations, and the importance of original academic work.

Inclusive Access

AI can help expand multilingual support, personalized guidance, and access to learning resources for global students.

Governance and safeguards

Responsible innovation requires academic trust

Digital education and AI-supported learning must be matched by clear safeguards. ACLAS is committed to policies and practices that protect learners, support faculty, and strengthen institutional accountability.

  • Academic integrity policies for responsible use of AI tools.
  • Transparent communication about digital tools and assessment.
  • Human oversight for AI-supported academic processes.
  • Data privacy and security for student records.
  • Inclusive design for multilingual access.
  • Continuous review to reduce bias and improve outcomes.
