At ACLAS, you do
not need to submit formal English language test results (such as IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo English Test Result) to apply for or enroll in our online degree programs.
We believe in making quality education accessible, and therefore we do not make English test scores a mandatory requirement for admission. However, applicants should have at least a
basic level of English proficiency to successfully understand lectures, complete assignments, and participate in online discussions.
Do I need to take the Duolingo English Test to apply?
No, you do not need to take the Duolingo test to apply for our courses. Our collaboration with Duolingo is only to provide a
discounted price for students who may wish to take an English language test with Duolingo for their own purposes (for example, for other university admissions or visa applications).
It is
not a requirement to take or submit a Duolingo test result in order to enroll in our online programs at ACLAS.
To clarify:
- You do not need a Duolingo test result to enroll in ACLAS programs.
- Taking the Duolingo test is completely optional and not connected to ACLAS admission.
- A basic understanding of English is recommended to succeed in your studies.
