Enrollment Agreement Terms

This Enrollment Agreement ("Agreement") is between [Student Name - Please Type Your Name] ("Student") and Atlanta College of Liberal Arts and Sciences ("ACLAS", "Institution") for enrollment in [Program Name].

By signing this Agreement, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Non‑Refundable Payment: All payments are strictly non‑refundable once processed, except where expressly required by applicable law. No refunds will be issued for dissatisfaction with accreditation, recognition, content, delivery method, personal circumstances, failure to meet requirements, or any other reason not mandated by law.
• Digital Delivery & Start of Service: Service begins upon account activation and access to the online learning platform. Digital delivery is deemed complete when login credentials are provided and the student portal is accessible.
• Academic Requirements: Degree/credential issuance is conditional upon (a) passing all required assessments and (b) submitting and obtaining approval of any required prior degree/identity documents. The Institution reserves the right to adjust assessment methods, conduct anti‑cheating reviews, and request additional identity verification.
• Official Document Package / Apostille: Physical certificates, transcripts, and apostille services are separate, eligibility‑based services. They will not be processed if the Student is in a dispute, chargeback, or has not met all academic requirements.
• Dispute / Chargeback Consequences: Any payment dispute, chargeback, or unauthorized reversal will result in immediate suspension of all services—including credential issuance, verification, and physical document processing—until the dispute is resolved in the Institution's favor. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may lead to credential revocation and listing in the Academic Revocation Registry.
• Evidence Retention: The Institution retains logs of account activity (login times, IP addresses, course access, assessment submissions) and this signed Agreement as evidence of service delivery and student consent. This electronic evidence may be used in dispute resolution, legal proceedings, and to demonstrate service delivery in case of payment disputes or chargebacks. By signing this Agreement, you consent to the retention and use of this evidence for these purposes.
• Governing Terms: This Agreement incorporates by reference the Institution's current Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy.
• Electronic Consent: This Agreement becomes effective upon electronic signature and payment. An electronic copy will be generated and stored as a legally binding record.
• Age and Eligibility: You confirm you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter this Agreement. ACLAS does not admit Georgia residents and is not regulated by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission (GNPEC).
• Accreditation Disclaimer: ACLAS holds ISO 29995:2021, QAHE, and EAHEA accreditations but is not accredited by the U.S. Department of Education. Recognition of credentials varies by jurisdiction, employer, and institution.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, ACLAS's liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Governing Law & Dispute Resolution: This Agreement is governed by Georgia, U.S. law. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under AAA rules, waiving class actions and jury trials to the extent permitted by law.
• Force Majeure: ACLAS is not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or technical failures.
• Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, whether oral or written.
• EU/UK Digital Content Immediate Supply & Withdrawal Waiver (if applicable): By checking the 'Withdrawal Waiver' box, you acknowledge that digital educational content is supplied immediately upon payment and account activation. Where applicable under EU/UK consumer law, you expressly waive any statutory right of withdrawal (cooling‑off period) for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, as the performance has begun with your consent and you have acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once the performance has started.
• KYC / AML / Sanctions / Export Control: You confirm that you are not a person or entity subject to international sanctions, embargoes, or export control restrictions. ACLAS reserves the right to conduct Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) and Anti‑Money‑Laundering (AML) checks, and to refuse or terminate service if you violate applicable laws or present an unacceptable risk.
• Cryptocurrency Payments Irreversible: If you choose to pay via cryptocurrency (e.g., USDT), you acknowledge that such payments are irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain. No refunds, cancellations, or chargebacks are possible for cryptocurrency transactions.
• Account Non‑Transferable / No Sharing / Security Responsibility: Your account is personal and non‑transferable. You must not share login credentials or allow third parties to access course materials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it.
• Academic Integrity / Anti‑Cheating / AI Use Boundaries: You agree to complete all assessments with your own work, without unauthorized assistance. Use of generative AI tools must comply with course‑specific guidelines. The Institution may employ plagiarism‑detection and anti‑cheating technologies, and violations may result in suspension, failure, or revocation of credentials.
